To me it makes me feel both hope and love. Hope – because I know that these foxes have been rescued by the Fox Project UK and love because these are our fellow creatures with whom we are blessed to share this planet
The good news is that the dedicated team at the Fox Project are not only rescuing and caring for foxes – they are also raising public awareness about them! which bodes well for the future. Here is their mission statement
The Fox Project is a charity dedicated to the red fox. We operate in parts of Kent, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex and South East London, dealing with sick and injured foxes and abandoned fox cubs and working with a large team of volunteers to provide for their care, treatment and rehabilitation back into the wild.
On Sat 25th June there will be an evening musical event and BBQ at the Black Heath Folk Club in Cowbeech, Hailsham East Sussex to fundraise for the project.
Last year I helped them out with a donation of a batch of animal art prints. This summer there will be more for people to buy with funds supporting the crucial work for foxes.
Would you like to see a selection of what will be on offer? Here we go…
