This week my friend Tina came to learn to observe and draw too. We got a lovely cappucino from the cafe before going in.

Lots of new faces there this week and quite a good number – great to see such interest in this class.

Our model was Gwyon – I am not sure if I have spelled his name correctly and I was glad I was feeling more relaxed this week as it allowed me to remember to breathe whilst sketching! Yes – that was why I was pink last week probably – too tense and apprehensive.

I took more time as our model posed for us. That said my warm-up sketches were terrible and I only have one sketch which makes me smile from the 2 hour session (photo above).

Well – that’s what learning a new skill entails doesn’t it?

Here are the rest of my sketches – unadulterated and in the raw!
